Webstock Bingo is a Twitter-based bingo game for Webstock conference attendees.
About the game
One of the best parts of Webstock is that not only are there awesome speakers, but also the conference goers are very choice too. Webstock Bingo is a way to make sure that you meet as many of those great people as possible. Your next client, mentor, ally or love of your life is probably waiting for you. Your bingo board will provide you with a mission, and a reason to introduce yourself and get talking. What happens next is up to you.
Sign up and get to meet other Webstockers!
How to play
Once you've signed in through Twitter, you'll receive a board of 25 people who you're assigned to meet (This board is linked by @name at the top of the screen). When you meet a person in real life, touch them (metaphorically, unless they give you permission for a literal touch). You'll come to their profile page, and there should be a "I've met them" button underneath their name. Click that, and your board will be marked. Congratulations! Now go find those other 24 people.
(If you don't get the "I've met them" button, try logging out and logging in again. Sorry for the hassle!)
One simple rule to live by
Although we can't police what you do, we do recommend that you only count "meeting" someone if it's actually at Webstock, including if you go in early to pick up your bag, or if you come along to the Unofficial Webstock Official Wellingtonista Wednesday Warmup Drinks otherwise those incestuous Wellingtonians are going to wipe up.
